I got a phone call over the weekend. It was a representative from ECU Athletics saying that I had won the "ASAP Pirate Pictures Contest". On a whim, (and some encouragement from a friend - thanks Seth) I submitted a photo I took at the ECU vs. UNC game on the ECU Pirates Athletics web site. It was a wide-angle photo of the entire stadium. There were several excellent photographs submitted, "203" to be exact. I was told that the ASAP Staff selected the photo. I am grateful to have had a photograph that was even considered let alone selected to win, and selected by professional photographers at that. I was told that I won a side-line pass to the last ECU home game of the season vs. Tulane. I am allowed to photograph the entire game and also get to bring along a photographer from ASAP to give me some pointers. I can't believe I won! I've never won anything in my life.
