Milestone.

Remember I told you about the big news coming? So here goes . . .

Well, There's these really cool people who own a salon (SALON 535 . . . I'd link their website here but they don't have one just yet). Turns out that these really cool people dig my photography. They offered to hang some of my photographs IN THE SALON! So, I said . . . uh, sure! I printed up some of my favorites of '07 and had 'em framed (Images from the Lee, House, Stetter, and Cannon shoots . . . THANKS!). I brought them to the salon and they hung them up for all to see. Pretty Cool! So, if you need a manicure, pedicure, hair-cut, coloring . . . even permanent make-up check out Salon 535 in Ayden. See Sarah, and tell her that I sent you.

I've never had a business think my photos were good enough to be used to DECORATE! Since this was kind of a big deal for me . . . I took pictures. Afterwards, my family and I enjoyed the big beautiful red wall (the salon 535 building wall). We took some family pictures in front of it. I'd love your thoughts. Enjoy!

1,000 Hits!

In a little over 24 days the blog has reached 1,000 hits. I absolutely can not believe that . . . not because I don't think its a cool blog . . . I just never anticipated this blog to blow-up so rapidly. I hope having 1,000 hits says that people enjoy seeing the photos. I know I need to thank Kim (my biggest encourager) and Abby, Amber and Shelley. . . who are regulars to this blog (maybe 500 plus hits . . . just kidding . . . not that many . . . right?). Thanks for the comments you-gals . . . honestly, I thought if you gals (moms who take LOTS of photos of their cute kids) liked my photos then I'd have a shot at a future with a camera. Plus you've referred me to your friends . . . to me, thats the biggest complement. SO . . . to celebrate 1,000 hits I am launching my new marketing 'post-card' (4x5.5). I want your thoughts on it. I'd LOVE for you to offer ANY comments on this design. I am hoping to use it kinda like business cards. I'm having them printed up . . . but I wanted your input first. Does it catch your eye? Would you go to the site? Would you toss it in the circular file? SO, please post a comment in honor of the 1,000 Hits and give me your thoughts on the card. OVER 200 HITS!

Wow, my blog reached over 200 hits in four days. Thats pretty incredible to me. Thanks to all of you who have encouraged me in my photography and posted such kind comments on the blog. I do read them and I always look forward to reading them. I have been overwhelmed by the response and the numbers of people who have asked me to take pictures for them. I feel honored you guys choose me. So, thanks for the love!
